ruff stuff!



does this look like crap?! i'm experimenting with drawing part and using flash elements for parts too. nothing will be static on the cleanup, but the head will stay a symbol and the arms too...but drawing sneaky arms was getting me a little confused...

maybe try making the top half of this guy move less or not at all. Sort of like UPA and Flinstones walk cycles where there isn't really an arc to the upper parts of the characters as they move. SImplify it. I think reusing the heads and stuff like that makes it more obvious that you are reusing elements of the character. Your focus becomes shifted towards that as opposed to the overall walk. I guess a sneaky walk would be a challenge in this respect. How can you pull that off with minimal movement? You can do it. I believe in you smo, after all you've been rubbing elbows with animations elite. Good stuff.
